In addition to many years of distinguished leadership experience both inside and outside Kenya, Rafode’s mangers have served as consultants to other organizations starting their own microfinance programs. They have dedicated their lives to microfinance—they know what works, what doesn’t, and what has yet to be tried. They are well connected—they have worked with and within several MFI’s, and have cultivated professional relationships with various players in the industry. They are well known—they have won several distinctions for their work, their leadership, and their innovative approach to microfinance. Rafode’s unique operations strategy reflects the experience and insight of its managers.
Antony Mayodi, Executive Director Antony is a co-founder and acting Executive Director of Rafode. Antony is well respected in the microfinance industry for his extensive experience, innovative approaches, and excellent management skills. He has held several leadership roles in multi-national MFIs and is responsible for starting the first successful microfinance program to operate in war-torn Sudan. Antony is a passionate individual and he brings that passion to Rafode.
Christopher Khan, Co-Founder, Partner Chris is a co-founder and strategic partner of Rafode. Based out of Washington DC, Chris runs a management consulting firm that works with nonprofits and NGO’s. With a broad academic background in engineering, political science, international relations, and applied economics, Chris works with a variety of organizations on issues such as strategic planning and growth management. Chris has and continues to play a central role in maximizing Rafode’s potential for positive change.
